Trip to Terrace/Prince Rupert (day 4)

Woke up with the sun and had some smoked salmon i had bought the other day.  Was delicious!  Drove maybe 5 mins to get to that little waterfall from the previous day and had a nice wake up dip there.  Was in the water for a good 20 mins or so.  Taking breaks to stand in the sun every now and then.  Was quite brisk but felt great.  I headed back to my camp site and packed up.  It was quite a challenge hauling all my stuff up and down the hill from jeep to camping area.  Steep and rocky and arms full of stuff.

I should've spent another day out there and explored more of the road system out there but i headed through Terrace stopping for a coffee and kept on driving till i had nearly gotten to Smithers.  While i was up at work a few weeks before, I asked a friend, Darcy, if there was anything to see around there and he mentioned Twin Falls.  It had slipped my mind until i saw a sign on the side of the road and thought i better go have a look.

I had a bit of a sweat on by the time i got to the top of the trail.  There was a family there with kids or else i would have tried to keep going up on the rocks to get to the base of the falls.  Still was pretty nice, the falls on the left were thundering loud and was neat how the water was going through the treed in areas, that had little paths accessing them here and there.
I had fish and chips in Smithers and headed home.  I put the top up for the first time maybe half hour out of Smithers as it looked like rain ahead and it was a little chilly.  The rain never came and i would have been fine.  Oh well...  I canèt resist this rest stop near Burns Lake.
