A few days worth of Jeeping (June 2-4)

Well not to much to say, have just done a few trails close to home that i used to do in the old jeep semi-regularly.  Was just in behind the hart scales and across over to foothills and back in pidherny forestry road, June 2.  This first puddle might have turned me around in the old jeep, no problem these days.

There is a deer on the road infront of me here.  I killed the engine and watched her for a while untill she disappeared into the forest.
The next day, June 3, i went out the end of Domano blvd in college heights out to west lake.  I met Dan, driving his 4runner, we'd never met before but he recognized my jeep from the 4x4 club forums i use.  We chatted for a while and headed up the power lines there.  He was doing all the mud off the side of the trail but as i had the top down i didn't want to be wearing any mud. Dan Video

We chatted some more, had a beer, and he continued home.  I headed out to west lake.  There is a swamp i find photogenic along the way and apparently i didn't take any pictures of the lake.  Dan parked on this rock before he headed out, so on my way back i thought i'd park there for a pic or two.

June 4 was a nice sunny day and one of the best looking forecasts i had seen in a while.  Roof came down and I decided to go out to Salmon Valley.

Later around fall time i can often drive across the river straight out from the picture with the beer and sunflower seeds. I headed back out and across the bridge and continued with some familiar wondering around.

Weather started to turn and I headed back a little sooner than intended.
Bugs are bad nearly everywhere.  Salmon Valley was only flies tho and they weren't biting.  Good thing i travel with bug spray!  A few times i've turned around on trails due to caterpillars hanging down from trees and i don't want to deal with that having the top down.  Its been a good 3 days...
